New Fashion Police Host Kathy Griffin Slams Amal Clooney's Gloves At Golden Globes

Comedian Kathy Griffin has just stepped into Joan Rivers' shoes as top host of E! Fashion Police and her first traffic stop is George Clooney's new wife Amal Alamuddin and her outfit for Sunday night's Golden Globes. The annoying thing about the attire was the gloves, according to Kathy Griffin;

'I thought it was weird she had those gloves that remind me of, like, a porn scene, where the guy goes home and there’s the naughty dishwasher and she only has the gloves.'

Melissa Rivers Inherits $100 Million From Mother Joan Rivers Estate

Melissa Rivers has inherited the bulk of her late mother Joan Rivers' estate, $75 million in cash and the income from $35 million condo on New York's Upper East Side.

The inheritance was confirmed by an insider to Us Weekly. They add that Melissa's son and Joan's grandson Cooper, 13, also received his own bequest.

Melissa Rivers To Sue Doctor Who Performed Unauthorized Biopsy On Late Mother

Joan Rivers' daughter, Melissa says she will be suing Dr Gwen Korovin, the throat specialist who performed a procedure on Joan before her death. The doctor was allegedly unauthorised to practice at the Yorkville Endoscopy Clinic in Manhattan where Joan died after a routine endoscopy caused her cadiac arrest.

Joan Rivers had 4 dogs - 2 rescue dogs, Samantha and Teegan, who lived with her in New York, as well as a Jack Russell Terrier and a Border Collie in California.

The late comedian  amassed a $150 million fortune, earning $40 million a year – and reportedly raked in over $1 billion in sales of clothing and jewelry in her partnership with home shopping network QVC over the last 24 years.

Her lavish apartment on Manhattan’s Upper East side – bought through a family trust – was recently valued at $35 million. And, as Joan publicly stated, everything goes to Melissa Rivers.

However, her goddaughter Tracie Hotchner has revealed that Joan also left ‘clear provision’ for her dogs, writing:

‘How could you not love a woman who, when push came to shove, called her doggies her best friends and in later years said they were better companions than a husband because ‘They didn’t leave the seat up!’

Joan Rivers Remembered As A Difficult Tenant in Funny Yet Sad Eulogy By Her Daughter

Joan Rivers had joked in her memoir about the kind of funeral she wanted [here] and her real funeral service held last week, tried to give her that. Several celebrities attended the red carpet event, and sang or gave eulogies.

A bittersweet part of the funeral, was the eulogy delivered by daughter, Melissa, 46, who read from a letter to her mom, sent before Joan Rivers died. The letter talked about the comedian as a tenant.

In the last few years, Joan had stayed with Melissa and her son in L.A. once a week, when she flew in from New York to tape E!'s Fashion Police. Apparently, Joan Rivers had some issues with her part-time landlord and accommodations.

Joan Rivers Out Of Intensive Care - Daughter Asks For Prayers

Joan Rivers' daughter, Melissa Rivers has provided another update about her mother's condition in a new statement, released Wednesday, Sept. 3. She says the 81-year-old comedienne has been transferred to a private room at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. The statement reads;

My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support." 

Melissa had said in a statement a couple of days earlier;

"My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world. Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery."

Joan Rivers In Medically Induced Coma - Joked about Death A Day Before Suffering Cardiac Arrest

Joan Rivers is currently in a medically induced coma after she stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest while undergoing a throat surgery at a New York City clinic. While many reports said Joan was “in stable condition”, today it has emerged that she has been placed in a medically induced coma.

Now CNN reveals that on Wednesday, a day before the cardiac arrest, the 81 year old comedienne had joked about death.

She had performed at Laurie Beechman Theater and  a source, who was in the audience for the show, said Joan joked about death, teasing:

‘You know I’m 81 years old, and I could drop dead at any moment and you would be so lucky because you will have a story to tell your friends for the rest of your life.

The 81 year old host of the Fashion Police TV Show on E! was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition shortly before 10 a.m. after she stopped breathing while undergoing the procedure at Yorkville Endoscopy on East 93rd Street.
